We’re looking for a Strong QA Engineer to work on an e-learning platform that has been successfully operating on the market for 12 years and has hundreds of thousands of daily active users. It is an online educational platform that works with US market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance;
  • 1+ years of experience in Test Automation (Web, API);
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques;
  • Experience working with Selenium;
  • Experience with testing REST APIs (Postman);
  • Familiarity with web debugging tools (Chrome dev. tools, Fiddler etc.);
  • Experience with Atlassian suite products such as JIRA and Confluence;
  • Understanding of HTTP, JSON, REST, SPA, etc.;
  • Good ability to work independently as well as a part of a team;
  • Intermediate English (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Manual testing software components;
  • Create automated tests;
  • Create Jira tickets based on bugs found;
  • Attend daily stand-ups and complete tasks for bi-weekly sprints;
  • Collaborate with the team to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness;
  • Participate in team planning activities;
  • Provide impact analysis to measure and control test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions.
