We are searching for a General QA Engineer to join our client in the energy industry, headquartered in the USA. The project is focused on developing fuel and vehicle systems life cycle analysis software.

 As a General QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a highly complex and exciting project. You will work closely with our development team to design, execute, and optimize testing processes for this application suite, primarily built using Python and React.

Requirements:

— 4+ years of proven experience in manual and automated testing;

— Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation;

— Experience testing React applications, including UI and API testing;

— Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, PyTest, Jest, and similar;

— Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies;

— Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

— Well-organized and goal-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables;

— Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

— Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests;

— Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;

— Familiarity with performance and load testing tools;

— Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities:

— Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and software applications;

— Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios;

— Write and maintain test scripts using Python, focusing on unit, integration, and end-to-end testing;

— Test React-based user interfaces, ensuring functionality and usability;

— Report, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools;

— Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports;

— Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance testing efficiency;

— Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.
